Date Almond Energy Balls

These Date Energy Balls are a fantastic healthy snack that you can whip up in minutes.

These call for just a handful of natural ingredients, and taste much like cookie dough or should I call it a hippie cookie dough.

They can travel wherever you go with you.

  • In your office drawer,
  • In your school lunch box,
  • In your picnic basket,
  • In your purse when you make a supermarket run after school drop-offs and
  • Of course your home.

I may not count calories before eating a healthy snack but I would definitely count the number of ingredients!!

I could easily get away with 5 ingredients but I just got a bit greedy and added some more.

Who does not like that little extra!!

These are made with 8 ingredients and totally customizable.

Healthy swaps

Nuts– walnuts, almonds, pistachio (any or all )

Seeds– Chia seeds to flax seeds,

Coconut OIl– If you are not a fan of coconut oil, skip it completely and add more nuts or nut butter.

How to Make Date Energy Balls?

To make these healthy date balls, all that is needed is a food processor and 8 ingredients. Start off by processing the walnuts and chocolate in a food processor until crumbly, then add the dates, salt, and vanilla, seeds and process again.

How easy is that!!

Roll these into balls while eating some from the processor.(No one is judging) and store these in glass jars.

These guys are so good that it’s dangerous! They’re:

  • Tender
  • Crunchy from the nuts and chia seeds
  • Naturally sweetened
  • Chocolate-studded
  • Wholesome
  • And Seriously delicious

So who is making these with me?
